Carrying a familiar brand character into a new format.
My role
Concept development, art direction, photography, production and AI-assisted motion.
The idea
The can format became the starting point for a product story rooted in Tanqueray’s existing visual character.
The decisions
I drew on the brand’s green palette, crest and botanical references to connect the imagery to the product. Velvet, smoke and a wax seal give those familiar elements a tactile setting. Botanical movement extends the label’s visual language into the surrounding scene and connects the still images with the films.
My contribution
Concept, art direction and product photography, carried through AI production, compositing and the final edit.
How it was made
A real can, photographed, was the starting point; it set the compositions and kept the proportions, label and metal finish honest. I sketched the idea and frames in Figma and began building scenes in Blender. Blender got the structure in place, but the details I was after, the velvet, smoke, wax and moving botanicals, only came together with AI, which I needed for the motion anyway. Most of the craft is in the cleanup: in the Adobe suite I worked on the label typography, the condensation and the reflections until every frame read as the same product, then refined pacing and continuity in the edit.
The work
Hero, detail and lifestyle images, alongside three short product films.
